Killian Duarte Brandao, also known as "blan.bek", is a young multidisciplinary visual artist who dedicates his work to exploring his adventures in the different intimate worlds he frequents. His passion for the visual arts and his insatiable curiosity led him to create an artistic language allowing him to bring his personal experiences to life.

 

Born on June 5, 2000 in Laval, Killian has always felt a fascination for hidden universes and buried secrets. Growing up, he discovers his queer identity and embraces it boldly and passionately.

 

He studied for five years at the School of Fine Arts in Rouen, where he obtained his license (DNA) and his master's degree (DNSEP).

 

Her artistic work is deeply personal, reflecting her own experience and her quest for self-understanding and acceptance. He uses various processes such as painting, cooking, sculpture, sound and performance to render his own experiences to a wider audience.

 

He uses vibrant colors, abstract shapes and different materials to represent complex emotions and power dynamics that characterize the queer world he encounters. Her works are invitations to dive into inner landscapes, to explore multiple identities and to question established norms. By creating interactive culinary performances that evoke memories, fantasies and deep desires, he invites diners to connect with their own intimacy, their own stories. Seeking to give material form to his inner explorations, he uses different plastic mediums to create installations that represent passages, links between the different worlds he encounters.

 

Her creations are a powerful way to share her experiences and engage in conversation on often taboo subjects. He aspires to create a safe and inclusive space where audiences can connect with their own experiences and expand their understanding of the intimate worlds around them.
